Wood-burning project

FABB designed her own board and four blocks for Hamish to sell at Biz-Kids. Then she started practicing making some small animals, including this very fine porcupine!

Cake Of Clay

I made this cake from clay and Bottle/milk carton caps

First i took a milk carton cap (One of the bigger ones) then I wrapped it in brown clay, next I used a normal sized milk carton cap and stuck it on top of the clay I put on the first cap, then I wrapped that cap in yellow clay, and the last cap I did the same but used a bottle cap insted of a milk carton cap.

Last i decorated with the candle i made and the blueberries i made.

FABB: Princess Warrior (after Xena, Princess Warrior-- TV show)

Lot so work here-- cutting out patterns, marking up fabric, cutting out patterns and sewing (FABB did most of the work for her cloak, for instance). She also spray-painted her chakron (her first experience with spray painting), and of course tried things on again and again as I fitted everything to her.

On Hallowe'en morning she went to school and took part in the school parade, then headed over to her friend's place to Trick-or--treat at the mall!?! In the evening we headed over to the Jones' and the kids did about 20 houses, then watche da fireworks show by Murray. Then it was time to sort and trade candies-- always a highlight for the evening.
